All proceeds will be donated in their entirety to help recovering Marrow Transplant Patient Roger Contreras. Roger, a plumber by trade, has been unable to work ever since receiving his marrow transplant in March of 2009. This means he has been unable to earn any income for over a year as his illness (Myelodysplasia, the same blood cancer my cousin Tami also suffered from) had incapacitated him for much of 2008. Most patients who receive transplants cannot work for at least one year. Roger has had numerous post transplant complications that look as if they will keep him out of the work force even longer. You can just imagine how difficult it must be to be stressed over finances while trying to recover from a major medical procedure. This auction was the only idea I could come up with to help Roger. This item includes a $250, head to toe, empty handed version of a custom illustration similar to those seen on the GIRLgoesGEEK.com website that can be used on a business card/letterhead design or as an online web/blog/social media site avatar of yourself. If you would like the cartoon to be holding any item(s) additional fees will apply. Those fees will also be donated to the selected patient.

Bidding Rules:

1. Use this form to place a private bid on a "Cartoon You" illustration. Bidding will open at $50.00 and can be for any amount in full dollar increments.

2. Winner of this auction will be billed by Paypal before work commences.

3. The 3.5" high Illustration will be provided as a 300 DPI (print quality) .PSD file and as a 72 DPI .JPG file that can be used online. Illustration will be submitted from the photo(s) you submit to the designer by email. Up to 4 photos may include:

1 image of yourself
Up to 3 images of the clothing you wish to be portrayed wearing. 1 each of your: top, bottom, shoes

4. The Illustration will come with a limited use license for personal and brand identity purposes. Brand Identity means you can use the image to promote your company in any and all media.

5. To bid simply fill in and send the form below. It will not be published. Your "Username" only will be posted in The Flirty Blog along with the amount of your bid.

6. You must be at least 18 years old to place a bid.

7. This contest runs from 12:00 noon (PST) Monday Feb. 22, 2010 through 12:00 noon (PST) Friday Feb. 26, 2010.
