Oh what a night! The Flirty Guide's first bridal showcase event.

Promises and Pearls is an exclusive annual bridal showcase co-hosted by MB Wedding Design and Events and Especially Yours Chair Covers. 30+ of the Bay Area's premier event companies were there to showcase their products and services and yes, TFG was one of them!

This is what our booth looked like. Our arbor, with a petite pink chandelier, had been beautifully decorated by Karen Hsu, owner and designer of Grandiflora, with fresh cherry blossoms, curly willow and white orchids. It made our display both festive and picked up on the feeling of spring being just around the corner.

We had a warm reception by both brides and grooms! The overwhelming response we received by the guests who stopped, chatted, and viewed our slide show was that they felt The Flirty Guide was "So different" from other resources they had seen online. So YAY! It was a great response. They let me know we are right on track when it comes to being appealing, fun and informative. Some had already discovered the site prior to the event!

We even sponsored a contest at our booth with prizes from The Flirty Guide and "The Only DJ" Carl Mindling. The grooms were a great surprise, many entered our contest and one of them won! We also donated a raffle item as one of the show door prizes, a Flirty Bride "Whisper" comb tiara valued at $275.00.

Our "Welcome" sign, adorned with our new plus flirty brides, warmly greeted our guests.

The entire evening we had a slide show of screen shots of The Flirty Guide website playing at our booth. This went over incredibly well with both the brides and grooms attending the event. It was really fun to watch them watching the slide show, and to be able to get their first impression of the site, right there on the spot.

Here is a close up of the front of the gift bags which contained our Flirty postcards and a promo sheet of show specials and more...

A close up of all 5 postcards. 2 were for brides, 2 for their girlfriends who came with them and one was a fun card for the grooms! For a limited time I'll send you a set for free. Just send me your mailing address :o)
These fun, flower-magnet favors by Favorable Expressions were included in each goodie bag. How cute are they?

We also included a special TFG greeting card, with our business card, in each of the main show gift bags. They are blank inside allowing a bride to use them to send out as a thank you or a note to a professional, or are the perfect card to send to a bride. They were really a big hit. People were excited that both the cards and postcards were useful items and many were already planning who would they would send them to.

And the back of the card:

Our Flirty contest was a hit! The prize was so coveted by people entering and people who couldn't go to the show that I've decided to make it one of the monthly treasure hunt prizes from now on.

Here is the sign I made for "The Only DJ" Carl Mindling, who sponsored 4 $15.00 iTunes gift cards as part of our booth giveaway. He posted the names of the winners in his Buzz Box on his profile page the next day.

And thank you to all of the companies that offered visitors to our booth special show promotions! You all helped to make our first showcase event a great introduction for The Flirty Guide to San Francisco Bay Area brides and grooms!
