Fabergé Egg Wedding Cake Toppers

I know a Francophile is a non-French person who loves all things French. But is there a similar name for someone who loves all things Russian? As far as I know that name would be Gabby. Owner and designer of San Francisco based "Cake Coquette" Gabby is enamored with Russian anything; literature, art and ornaments. One of her favorites? The gold and silver gilding of Faberge.

Here is a sneak peek of her newly created collection of Fabergé-inspired egg cake toppers. Her intricate, ornamental keepsakes can be personalized with portraits of the bride and groom and customized with hand-painted and elaborately gilded themes to make a truly original finishing touch to match one of her truly original wedding or event cakes.

Gabby's fanciful cake toppers first came to my attention when Natalie Wi of Allure West Studios told me about them. It was Natalie that captured these gorgeous images of Gabby's work.

Some of you may recall that Natalie recently had a photograph of another of Gabby's cakes published in an issue of The Bride & Bloom magazine. CLICK HERE to see a picture.
