The Old Ball and Chain

The other day I was reading Andrew Hsu's "Artisan Wedding Video's by Studio MSV" blog and came across this photo in a recent post.

LOL. Usually referring to a wife as the old "ball and chain" is a euphemism. Usually. But not for this poor groom. It's always the people you trust the most that are often the ones who will grab a laugh at your expense. Here one of the groomsmen took the credit for a decoy hug, that immobilized the groom just long enough for two of the other groomsmen to slap and lock an actual ball and chain to his ankle.

In his blog Andrew says the poor guy drug it around for a good portion of the reception before his pals finally released him. I'm sure it made for a great laugh as well as a great photo op.
