Michelle Barrionuevo-Mazzini from MB Wedding Design and Events sent me this photo of a cool new twist on the classic ring cushion. A ring box. It's certainly more masculine then a silk cushion, even pictured here with the rose buds lining the inside. The rings, held in place by a satin ribbon are safe and sound. Love it!

I love this idea! Can someone tell me where I can purchase it? Or at least how they got the box? I can then had ribbon and roses.
The box was actually provided by the florist, so unfortunately I am not quite sure where he got it from. However, since this wedding I've had other brides re-create this version of the ring box and my last bride used a chocolate box she had purchased from Neiman Marcus. It was clean and cute, had no logos or name brand on it, so it worked perfectly. Another one of my brides used an perfume box that she purchased at Macy's....so there are options that are easy to find. I hope this information helps.

how much does it cost?
To make a ring cushion box similar to this the cost would vary but you can usually find small shadow box picture frames for around $20 or so. If you remove the glass from the front and add the flowers (fresh or dried) directly to the base you would only need to purchase a piece of ribbon ($2-$4).
Depending on the cost of the flowers I'd guess you can keep the finished price below $50, even less if you can find or make the frame for less than $20.
