Married in October of 2007 Stacie was the quintessential Flirty Bride and used her own wedding as an opportunity to bring to life her vision of what a flirty bride is, and how much fun she should have, both planning her own wedding and at the wedding itself.

A one woman design studio, or as she calls herself, creative consultant, Stacie Tamaki is one busy girl. You can always see the latest she's been up to on her Fun and Flirty Blog.

Whether she's making custom bridal veils, tiaras, jewelry and cake toppers, or creating miniature origami cranes, her imagination knows few boundaries.

Her career in the bridal industry began 11 years ago. Her bridal, origami and custom dog costumes have been featured online and in newspapers, magazines, 4X on San Jose's, KNTV News Channel 11, HGTV , and the TODAY Show.

Kimono Ribbon
Flower Ring Cushion

Oh the wedding was such great fun! We had a real live ring bearer. Notable because we attached the real rings to the hand beaded silk dupioni cushion.

So many times I've been to weddings where the rings were the thin costume jewelry type that you buy at the local craft store. You can get a big bag of them for a few bucks.

But since our ceremony was indoors and the Matron of honor was his mom I figured the rings would make it up to the alter ok.

The kimono print ribbon flower is one I made and the gorgeous thin ribbon used to tie the rings to the cushion is a special and kind of pricey from Japan.

The tiny seed bead border is one of those things that isn't difficult to do, just very time consuming.

The back of the cushion has a small pocket that he was able to use to hold the cushion in place.

The colors were bright and cheery and kept in theme with the rest of the wedding. Our little guy did a great job and looked adorable in his snappy little tie he chose himself for the occasion.
