Hi Zuhy,
You can either go in or mail your shoes to The Master Cobbler to have the soles made into any color you want. Just bring in or send them a color swatch along with your shoes. To ship them contact the shop below to make arrangements:

You can also find blue soled shoes by going to www.myglassslipper.com and looking at the Something Bleu line!

The Something Bleu line totally does not have blue soles, I checked. I just bought regular blue shoes.

Jackie, are you kidding? They most definitely do! They have a few that have powder blue soles, none of them are in taste with my lace gown and again, not all of them feature the blue sole, but they DO have them, like this one for example: http://www.myglassslipper.com/wedding-shoes/something-bleu/tell-3626
i think i'd rather get some hot heels then send them into the cobbler and get them vamped up in any shade i want!

The normal turn around time for the blue soled shoes at the Master Cobbler is 2-3 weeks. This allows the shop sufficient time to complete the shoes properly and get them back (shipping them to those who live out of state) to brides in a timely manner.

Do you know of any place in the Seattle Washington area that can do the blue colored sole? Also, I called the Master Cobbler and they only do the light blue color...can't send them a swatch like this website says and get that color :(

Hi Emily,
I'm sorry I don't know of any other cobbler shops that offer the sole dying then the two I've listed here. I did speak to the owner of The Master Cobbler just now and he informed me that the reason they stopped offering "any shade of blue" on the soles is because they were having a problem with the dyes adhering to the bottom of the shoes well. The light blue pictured here seems to be the most durable color when it comes to wear.
Sorry I couldn't be of more help.
I do thank you for letting me know. I didn't realize the shop had changed their policy. The information above is now reflected with the updated information. |

I want my something blue to be my entire shoe. I am looking for a sparkly, high heeled, but comfy shoe that I can have the CL Tiffany blue bottom applied. Any suggestions?

Hi Carolina,
There is a thread here:
http://tinyurl.com/2f3owox
It is all about DIY'ing flat backed Swarovski Crystals to your shoes to make them sparkle. The example is a pump but you can do this to a strappy shoe as well if you use the right kind of glue.
I spotted this idea on the Wedding Bee Boards which also lists some pricing to purchase the shoes with crystals or to undertake the project as a DIY. You can order blue colored crystals from Swarovski or apply clear crystals to a blue shoe for the sparkling accent. Let me know what you think!
