Married in October of 2007 Stacie was the quintessential Flirty Bride and used her own wedding as an opportunity to bring to life her vision of what a flirty bride is, and how much fun she should have, both planning her own wedding and at the wedding itself.

A one woman design studio, or as she calls herself, creative consultant, Stacie Tamaki is one busy girl. You can always see the latest she's been up to on her Fun and Flirty Blog.

Whether she's making custom bridal veils, tiaras, jewelry and cake toppers, or creating miniature origami cranes, her imagination knows few boundaries.

Her career in the bridal industry began 11 years ago. Her bridal, origami and custom dog costumes have been featured online and in newspapers, magazines, 4X on San Jose's, KNTV News Channel 11, HGTV , and the TODAY Show.

No Head Table Wedding Seating Chart

With only 2 attendants for each of us we felt it would be kind of silly to have a head table with only 6 people at it.

Instead we tried out what I believe is a truly original and flirty idea.

Rather then walk from table to table standing and chatting with our guests, we opted instead to create a seating chart where we seated 8 guests at each table and added 2 additional chairs at each table so that we could actually sit and dine with our guests at their tables.
We did the math and set the timer on John's iPhone and spent a quality 7 minutes at each table during the dinner hour. At the end of each 7 minutes we picked up our plates and moved to the next table.

We began at the back of the room at table 9 and went in reverse numerical order ending up at table 1 nearest the podium for the toasts that followed the dinner hour.

I have to say I think this may have been the favorite part of the wedding for many of our guests. At least that's what a lot of them said.

My husband and I did the same thing for our wedding (although our lack of a head table was more of a "peace-keeping" effort...). We were married in France and, conveniently for us, French wedding dinners have about a million courses- so we were able to have an entire course with each table! It really kept us from feeling like we were spreading ourselves thin...Thanks for the handy floor-plan, btw. I will definitely keep this one in the files.

That is SO clever! I'm going to bookmark this for future (May) reference.
