Katherine believes that "Everyone has a right to a beautiful wedding," and works with her clients to plan an event that will follow their dreams and fit their budgets. Believing there is no wrong way to celebrate a wedding, she will do everything in her power to make her client's wishes come true.

Her past clients and fellow professionals adore her and think she is the quintessential coordinator: stylish, creative, thorough, organized and on top of every task.

Katherine knew when she was a little girl she wanted
to be a wedding coordinator. Not wanting to disappoint her family's dream that she attend college, she was side tracked for a few years while earning her degrees in both clinical psychology and educational counseling.

With her past experience as a counselor, Katherine is sensitive and able to help resolve some of those sticky family issues that arise when one is planning a wedding. She never wavers in her ability to remain patient and empathic when emotions run high. Living in a region as diverse as the Bay Area she rises to the challenges working with families of different ethnic backgrounds often presents.

When time came to plan her own wedding in 2000, she hired Sarah Rondeau and Michelle Martin from Custom
Celebrations as her event coordinators. They were so impressed with her demeanor, style and overall knowledge of event planning that they invited her to come on board: "You are a born wedding planner," they told her. In return she happily accepted the internship. She became the sole owner of the company after Sarah retired in 2002 and Michelle moved on to pursue a new career in another wedding related field.
