"Beside the Bride, to help as needed...." is how Jean Marks likes to describe her coordination services. No idea or event is too large, or too small, for her personalized and professional attention.
From her Palo Alto office Jean works with Bay Area brides and travels the virtual globe assisting destination brides to plan their California weddings from faraway places like New York and Japan. This includes an elegant Japanese/American wedding reception, planned exclusively through email across the Pacific Ocean. Jean has done, and "can do," it all!
Her creativity knows no bounds. For one unique bride a wedding with a Safari theme, at a wildlife sanctuary in Santa Rosa, was a huge success. Guests stayed in luxurious "huts," and before the ceremony? They were treated to a wildlife tour where they got to see giraffes and rhinos. Memorable? You bet!
Drawing from her experience as an Administrator for a local non-profit, as well as 11 years as a floral design associate, Jean's exceptional organizational skills and keen eye for design give her a solid foundation when it comes to envisioning and executing a professionally planned wedding.
Jean was trained through the ACPWC (Association of Certified and Professional Wedding Consultants), attaining the title of Professional Wedding Consultant in 2004. Both clients and the industry love Jean. She is a preferred vendor at many prestigious Bay Area venues, including:
Thomas Fogarty Winery, Ritz Carlton Half Moon Bay, Nestldown, Villa Montalvo, and Ralston Hall
Her relationship with her clients always begins with an initial consultation in her home, over a cup of tea.
